After listening to the introduction to Unit 8, what are you looking forward to in history over the next few weeks?
During this unit, not only am I looking forward to learning more about the famous aspects, (MLK, Rosa Parks...) but I also can't wait to learn about the less publicized individual and group efforts. In my opinion, either the Civil Rights Movement or the Cold War will be the most interesting parts. I say this because, although learning about different wars and battles are interesting, I think it will e more interesting to learn about totally new events. Also, the Korean and Vietnam wars will probably pale in comparison to WWII, which we just finished covering.
